Day of action Westminster Bridge

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, alongside Westminster City Council and our partner agencies, carried out a joint operation on Westminster Bridge to tackle unlicensed street trading, street performing and breaches of the Pedicab Public Space Protection Order (PSPO).

The operation was a success, with several positive results:

1 pedicab rider arrested.

1 abandoned pedicab seized.

1 peanut trolley and 1 photo machine seized.

Equipment seized from an unlicensed street performer.

4 Fixed Penalty Notices issued to pedicab riders for breaching the PSPO.

This joint operation shows the importance of working together to keep Westminster safe and welcoming for residents, businesses and visitors.

A big thank you to Westminster City Council and all our partner agencies for their continued support and teamwork.
